Full Job Description
A leading women’s health center (Choices Women’s Medical Center) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Women’s Health Advanced Practice Provider (PA, LM, NP) with extensive knowledge and experience in women’s health Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. Part time or per diem- 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat women’s health issues
- Management of the low risk antenatal and postpartum patient
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive gynecological and breast examinations of patients
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with physicians regarding patient care
- Review lab and radiology reports, communicate results to patients and physicians as necessary.
Qualifications
- Licensed in New York State as an Advanced Practice Provider (Adult, Family or Women’s Health NP, LM or PA)
- At least 3 years previous experience in women’s health preferred
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPR and ACLS certification
Competitive Hourly Rate Based on Experience and Qualifications
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: From $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
